Kol·lect-if | Kapadòcia

23.07.26 | 21.30 h

Adaptation for the M|A|C Prison of the multidisciplinary performative action that explores the relationship between the body, identity, memory, and globalized systems of production and consumption, using clothing as a metaphor. The artistic collective is composed of Ester G. Mecías, Juan José Baltasar, J.C. García-Reyes, Sara Hernández, Elena Martín, and Diego Hernández.

Kapadocia is a hybrid artistic creation project by the Kol·lect-if collective, aimed at exploring the relationship between the body, identity, memory, globalized production and consumption systems, and the ecosocial crisis. It uses layers of clothing as a metaphor for the social, emotional, and cultural layers that define us.

Kapadocia is an artistic and reflective experience that encourages the audience to reconsider their relationship with fashion, identity, and consumption. It invites viewers to rethink production systems and establish new connections with history, nature, and community. Beyond performative actions, it is a visual and sensory manifesto that weaves theories and unweaves oppressions.
