The work features two figures dressed in official uniforms belonging to different branches of the Italian state, reproduced in accordance with regulatory models. The action deliberately avoids any depiction of functions specific to authority, since there are no arrests, identity checks, orders, simulated service or any exercise of public duties. The uniform remains a visual sign stripped of its institutional function, becoming a support from which to examine the relationships between power, masculinity and desire during the practice of the carrera, or cruising.
