Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana / Focus Weeks and Mobile Venue
Meet the Manifesta 15 Focus Weeks. Discover the cultural richness and history of each city highlighted weekly during Manifesta 15. Join us as the Manifesta 15 Mobile Venue visits the central square of each city and offers a variety of events and activities in collaboration with local municipalities. This sustainably built Mobile Venue, created with the expertise of IAAC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) students, will serve as a dynamic cultural community hub during the biennale’s Focus Weeks.
The Manifesta 15 Mobile Venue also reflects the fundamental values that the biennial promotes, such as environmental responsibility in the eco-social transition by using sustainable, recycled materials. It also develops the concepts of mobility and decentralisation through its innovative design. This approach not only fulfils practical functions to connect the different cities, but also intends to actively involve residents in the cultural activities of their region
Starting from the first week of the biennial, Mobile Venue travels through 11 cities with a following schedule:

15.10 — 20.10 Mataró, Plaça de Santa Anna
22.10 — 27.10 Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Plaça de la Vila
29.10 — 03.11 Badalona, Plaça de Pompeu Fabra
05.11 — 10.11 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Rambla de la Marina
12.11 — 17.11 Cornellà de Llobregat, Plaça Mossèn Jacint Verdaguer
19.11 — 24.11 El Prat de Llobregat, Plaça de Catalunya
