Mi voz en su dedo más pequeñito. Mikel Adán Tolosa

The exhibition “Mi voz en su dedo más pequeñito” by Mikel Adán Tolosa aims to inhabit the sculptural surface as a place of encounter between bodies. The communication between surfaces is often revealed as something more complex than expected. My voice and its little finger. Thinking about the possibility of touching the void with the hand. An open mouth and a hand so small that it doesn’t reach the walls. Forms move out of their territory, becoming more animal if they are vegetal, more mineral if they are animal, more human if they are artificial. Altering the logic of the original material, replacing it with another, initially foreign to that form, allows this new language not only to emerge but to be enhanced until it becomes its own, generating strangeness in what is recognizable, making it, at first, cease to be so.
