Queer perspectives with Liz Dust

Artist and cultural mediator Liz Dust will lead a guided mediation inviting participants to approach exhibitions Sangre by Artemio Narro, and Elleipsi by PichiAvo, through a queer and critical perspective, understanding mediation as a space for conversation, reflection, and the collective construction of meaning.

An artist, performer, and cultural mediator, Liz Dust has developed the travesti gaze into a critical tool through which to question the ways identity, desire, memory, representation, and power relations are constructed. Rather than offering a fixed interpretation, the programme invites participants to discover new resonances between the works of Artemio and PichiAvo and contemporary debates surrounding the body, the image, and dissidence.
