Natalia Fernandes’ new stage proposal continues to define her poetics and to project new ways of situating a body on stage: the body that observes and the gaze that defines are the protagonists of the research. The mise-en-scène will be delimited by the observing eyes that relentlessly try to define the body, time and space in front of them.

Natalia Fernandes is a Brazilian creator and dancer who has been living in Spain since 2017. Her scenic and methodological research has the body as a starting point for a hybrid creation that seeks to mix discourses. The interplay between body and imagination is the basis of her work, which revolves around a critical and post-colonial position in relation to choreographic discourses and the idea of the dancer. This piece is Natalia Fernandes’ first creation as part of the ONI Collective.
