Passatge, Albert Potrony

Passatge presents the research Albert Potrony has been conducting since 2019 regarding death, care, and grief through the Mortals project. The exhibition, curated by Frederic Montornés, premieres the eponymous audiovisual work—produced by La Panera and the Consorci Museus de Sitges—which explores the concept of transition from four different perspectives.
With the ongoing support of Roser Sanjuan and the participation of people of diverse ages, backgrounds, and social circumstances, Mortals has created an archive of shared experiences. The exhibition is organized into six sections, interrelating audiovisual and textual works from the project’s various stages. Passatge proposes a shared exploration of death as a way to learn how to live better.
