Opening 'PIM PAM PUM' - Zac Craig

BETA Contemporary presents PIM PAM PUM, Zac Craig’s first solo exhibition at the gallery.

Developed over the past fifteen years, Craig’s abstract language draws from early European abstraction, Surrealist automatism and techniques rooted in the history of painting. His layered surfaces, palettes and compositions move between references to fifteenth-century Northern European painting and the Baroque, while giving shape to an intuitive and distinctly personal visual language.

PIM PAM PUM approaches painting as an ongoing dialogue between art history, material experimentation and the psyche.
