Presentation of the comic 'La Edad de la Abundancia. La revuelta de los pillos'. Aldo Urbano

La Edad de la Abundancia. La revuelta de los pillos (The Age of Abundance. The Revolt of the Rogues) is a comic that uses humour and an exaggerated mystical tone to address issues such as social inequality, the lack of opportunities, the reactions of a poisoned land and the passage of time. Its characters go through adventures and seek help in a devastated landscape where humour is an inevitable consequence rather than a deliberate choice. Unscrupulous criminals, losers and upstarts coincide in their vignettes, leading to reflections, conflicts and also comical situations. Needless to say, behind all their setbacks lies a quest for wisdom that only a few of them will attain.

The publication’s presentation will feature a conversation between Aldo Urbano and Rubén Ramos Nogueira (from La Capella’s curatorial team) in addition to an exhibition format in La Capella’s Espai Vestíbul that can be visited between 9 and 12 October.
