Presentation of No. 1 of Pedra Magazine at La Capella

We invite you to the presentation of the first issue of Pedra, La Capella’s magazine and a platform for emerging visual arts viewed from Barcelona.

Pedra launches a new editorial line that places the present moment at the core of the institution. Without historiographical ambitions and without seeking to project itself into the future, Pedra creates a dialogue around the forces that shape the rhythms and intensities of La Capella in specific situations and moments.

Pedra emerges from a network of connections and affinities. First, LIO (La Impremta Oberta), the publishing project run by nyamnyam and Cultural Rizoma, which edits and supports the publication; second, todojunto, responsible for its design; and finally, the members of La Capella’s curatorial team for 2026 — Marta Sesé, Marc Navarro, Jara Rocha, Rubén Ramos Nogueira, and Mònica Rikić — who write and reflect on what is happening at La Capella right now.
