Publications from the Living Museum of Metropolitan river Basins

The Living Museum of Metropolitan river Basins in creating a bio-cultural space, has as its mission the sedimentation of strata of life and memory associated with the Llobregat and Besòs river basins. In recognition of its rich biodiversity, the Living Museum manifests the same multifaceted shape as the singularity of the places, and of the creatures which inhabit them. Its principal task is to reveal and to foreground relationships, methodologies, and creative biodiversity in a context of accelerated terrain transformation due to climate crisis. At the same time, the Museum is structured as a communication node with other global river basin bio-regions.
For four years, the Living Museum has been carrying out research, collective creations, and collaborations with people and organisations in the extended metropolitan region of Barcelona. The results of this work are the graphic materials and publications which we will present at ACVIC, some of which function as activators of territorial awareness.
