When Water Infrastructures Speak. Adelita Husni-Bey and Sitesize

The Italo-Libyan artist Adelita Husni Bey presents her research on the implementation of water control infrastructures in the context of colonialism and its contemporary capitalist arrival in Libya. The event includes a workshop, a screening, and a conversation with local voices from the Sitesize collective, exploring similar connections with water infrastructures in the context of Barcelona and its surrounding territories, especially in relation to the current severe climate crisis, which manifests its most visible effects through water.
