RES3: Second call

The RES3 project articulates a network of artistic residencies connecting three counties in the Camp de Tarragona region —Alt Camp, Baix Camp and Tarragonès— through the collaboration of three creative spaces: Nèctar (La Nou de Gaià), Roser de Foc (Vinyols i els Arcs) and Convent de les Arts (Alcover).

Launched in late 2025 and continuing throughout 2026, the project aims to support creative processes that engage with the environmental, social and symbolic realities of a territory in constant transformation.

Within the context of the Camp de Tarragona, the natural landscape coexists with the petrochemical industry, intensive agriculture, tourism and ongoing urban development. This coexistence generates tensions and contradictions, while also opening space for new questions and imaginaries. RES3 operates within this complex framework, understanding it not merely as a backdrop, but as living material for artistic research and experimentation.

The processes and/or outcomes of this year’s participating artists —Berta Baliu, Marc Anglés and Núria Vallsells Niubó— approach themes such as energetic connection, memory and landscape transformation. Their works are presented at Espai L de Casa Canals not as a closed conclusion, but as a provisional moment within an open, contextualized and territorially rooted process.

Opening: March 12 at 6:30 pm
