Residency program in Brussels
E:\\ART: Center for Mediation, Education, and Contemporary Art (Barcelona) and The Green Corridor (Brussels) are launching a new residency call addressed to creators, researchers, and/or cultural agents residing in Catalonia. The aim of this initiative is to invite creators from any discipline to develop a research process focused on mediation as an artistic practice capable of generating critical contexts, emancipatory practices, and collective practices. With this residency, The Green Corridor and E:\ART, seek to support artistic practice understood as a research process carried out through mediation, conceived as a tool from which to think about the relationship between contemporary art, mediation and education.
_Target audience: Call addressed to creators, researchers and cultural agents working in the fields of mediation, education, and/or contemporary art.
_Financial endowment: The residency has a duration of two months and will take place in September and October 2024.
_Dotación económica: €3,000 fee (including taxes) + travel + accommodation + workspace + curatorial accompaniment and mentoring.
