SED (Thirst). Marta Crespo
Sed (Thirst) is a trance through water, a collective journey that explores the experience of overflow as an occasion of passage —from the breaking of waters to the great flood—, always at the limit between pleasure and violence, agony and desire, life and death.
Inspired by female heresy since the Middle Ages, this performance transforms the universe of mysticism and of cleaning as manual labor. Four figures open fissures in an ambiguous act of submission/rebellion, resistance/faith. They pierce the law of labor with strategies of flooding, machine, hyperbole and mystery, letting water and body shift from being resources to becoming forces of transformation.
