Networking session and introduction to art collecting aimed at young collectors and anyone interested in entering this field.

The meeting will be led by Carmen Corbera and will feature the participation of collectors Manuel Expósito and Carlos Muñoz, who will share their journeys, motivations, and criteria for building a collection. It is conceived as an open space to share tools, knowledge, and experiences, addressing key aspects such as the first steps in collecting, understanding the context of the current art market, and relationships with galleries and artists.

With an approachable and participatory approach, the session aims to demystify collecting and bring it closer to new generations, fostering an accessible yet rigorous perspective on contemporary art, as well as the creation of a community among people with shared interests.

This activity is part of The Collector is Present, a programme by Barcelona Gallery Weekend resulting from the collaboration between collectors and gallerists.
