Open Studio and Closing Exhibition of Sara Edwards, marking the conclusion of her residency at Espai Souvenir.

Sara Edwards is a New York–based artist whose practice explores memory, place, and the emotional traces embedded in landscapes and material surfaces. Working primarily in oil, she develops a symbolic visual language through recurring forms that evoke vulnerability, transformation, and presence.

Developed during her residency, The Stone Series is a body of paintings inspired by archaeology, weathered stone, and the ways memory becomes embedded within material surfaces. Built through layers of muted, stone-like paint, the works invite a slow and contemplative encounter, where meaning emerges through the relationship between form, texture, and absence.
