Eva Miquel (Barcelona, 1970) is a visual artist working at the intersection of drawing and photography, with an intimate, poetic, and reflective gaze. As Italo Calvino once said: “There is a kind of lightness that is not frivolity, but a way of gliding over things from above, without being dragged down by inertia.” This same formal lightness is present in Eva’s black and white miniatures, evoking complex emotional worlds with striking simplicity.
