UNVEIL: A Hands-on Workshop with the Artist Carlos Herraiz

In this hands-on workshop with artist Carlos Herraiz, we will explore the idea of the veil as an aesthetic and poetic principle through which to approach, by way of material, the gestures of concealing and unveiling.

Drawing from the research process that gave rise to Velar, the artist will share the ideas, techniques, and materials that shape his practice, inviting participants to experiment with the four elements that underpin the project: wax, fabric, paper, and thread.
An opportunity to engage with the material and conceptual universe of the exhibition through direct experience.
