Visit to Lo Pati as part of the VII Culture and Ruralities Forum
The first week of June, the Ebro Lands will take center stage at the VII Culture and Ruralities Forum organized by the Ministry of Culture. This year, the nationwide event will be held from June 4 to 6 in Tortosa. Activities will take place at the Felip Pedrell Theater Auditorium, which will be the main venue, and will expand to other locations in the city and the Ebro Lands.
Among the territorial proposals included in the program, a visit to the Lo Pati Art Center in Amposta has been organized to explore various plastic and visual arts projects developed in the Ebro Delta. This activity is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, June 5, and includes a tour of the temporary exhibition “Energia submergida” with photographer Paula Artés, who sheds light on the abuses of power at the Castor underwater plant.
The route will also pass by the Baladre artists’ residence, managed by the Ampostino art center, where artist David Bestué will present Garba, a collective and experimental research project focused on the material lexicons of the Ebro Delta. The tour will end at the Trabucador beach with artist Alfred Porres and Xavier Abril, a technician from the Ebro Delta Natural Park, who will explain the Sediments experience, an Aula al Pati initiative aimed at schoolchildren that reflects on the fragility of the Delta. The bus will depart from Tortosa, and to participate, you must register on the website:

Additionally, this edition of the Forum also features an expanded program with the participation of various regional and national agents, paying special attention to those developed in the provinces of Tarragona, Castellón, and Teruel, with the aim of fostering and encouraging crossovers and collaborations.
