About the Zona intrusa project
Zona intrusa is an artistic and educational project, initiated and produced by the M|A|C (Mataró Art Contemporani), aimed at secondary schools in Mataró. Its goal is to bring contemporary art closer to students in order to create a critical space for knowledge and experimentation.
Through collaboration between artists, teachers and students, the project develops shared creative processes that prioritise experience, dialogue and experimentation over final results.
The M|A|C Aperitif
We often refer to contemporary art as a field that reflects on society’s issues. Many of the artists we invite to the M|A|C have a practice strongly rooted in themes connected to the realities that affect us. They work along research lines similar to those of specialists in the field and have a solid discourse that appeals to a broader audience than those strictly linked to the art world.
With The M|A|C Aperitif, we propose sharing this knowledge in a light format, with the relaxed and conversational atmosphere that the aperitif hour naturally provides.
