Open activities - Vivim en un món devorat

During three Sundays, we propose various activities that activate the conceptual framework of  ‘Vivim en un món devorat. These open and transgenerational meetings coincide with the closure of each period of work of the group of ‘Quinzena d’art’.

Action 1: Helen Torres + Caja Negra (Marta Echaves). 3 November 2024

Presentation of ‘Seamos como los hongos, El arte y las enseñanzas del micelio’, a book by Yasmine Ostendorf-Rodríguez now published by Caja Negra Editorial translated into Spanish by Helen Torres. The work carried out from a series of exercises around the contents of this publication will be shared, in order to put into circulation the teachings proposed by the book and that address, for example, collaboration, decoloniality, non-linearity, toxicity, mobilization, biomimicry, death and non-binary being.

Action 2: Lu Chieregati. 30 November 2024

Lu Chieregati will share some of the questions that make up the elaboration process of ‘Manual de supervivencia choreográfica en paisajes post apocalípticos en resurgimiento’, a publication that emerged from the long-term project ‘Floresta’ that will published in 2025. The manual consists of a set of daily practices focused on the development of attention and physicality in the forest, dominated by non-human landscapes. In this second open activity, Lu will propose counter-narratives that activate unexpected fictions and allow individual and/or collective rituals in the landscapes of La Garrotxa, and beyond.

Action 3: Victor Garcia + Ricardo Duque (La Fanzinoteca) + La Impremta Oberta (LIO). 15 December 2024

Around the work of recovery of old wheat by Victor Garcia (Sales de Llierca). We will be able to know these cereals, eat ‘coca’ that we will have prepared, and share the materials of a publication on this subject, which we will have worked collectively with the accompaniment of La impremta Oberta (LIO), which is located in the Espai nyamnyam, and Ricardo Ruque (La Fanzinoteca).
