In a 1799 letter, William Blake wrote, “Nature is imagination itself.” Romanticism sparked a revolution in thought that, for better or worse, would mark a radical shift in our attitude toward the rest of the ecosphere.
In this four-voice conversation, a debate will unfold about the cultural construction of Nature around Natura fosca. Imagination and Ecology from Solitud, a book that links to the Romantic legacy and stems from an exhibition co-produced by Bòlit in 2023 (“More Room for Darkness”).
