Ludo-mòbils With Paula Jaime
Imagine traveling in creative vehicles that respond to the movements of your own body. There are no buttons or pedals, just the energy of rolling, jumping, turning and swinging to get them going. These artifacts seem to come to life, adapting to every gesture and intention of those who “drive” them.
Through play and the exploration of body movement, Ludo-móbils invites boys and girls to discover new ways to move around in a fun way through open spaces, parks and squares.
The project proposes to map out alternative routes and design collective strategies to interact with these devices in an ingenious way.
Ludo-móbils are community means of transport specially designed so that the youngest, with their imagination and vitality, can connect deeply with the power of the body in motion and with their adventure companions.
Paula Jaime is a Colombian plastic artist with a master’s degree in interactive environments. In his artistic practice, he explores the fusion between sculpture, body and play to create interactive pieces that invite collective participation. He is particularly interested in the body as an activator of experiences and a subject of reflection. Through play, playful objects and a touch of humor, he seeks to translate reality and imagine possible utopias, thus addressing profound and critical issues.
