Natura Centrum Est With Marcel·lí Antúnez, Núria Martínez Vernis, the band and the parishioners

Natura Centrum Est is a participatory and collaborative street-action, which takes place on the street and, consequently, for all audiences. It is a parade with different stops where, through a microphone, Marcel·lí Antúnez tells us a story that invites us to reflect on our relationship with nature.

Antúnez claims a more organic relationship with nature, recovering wildness, bestiaries and bestiality in our imaginations, as well as establishing a genealogy of those farmers, activists or thinkers who have claimed a relationship with the biosphere that is more sustainable, diverse and with other times and procedures that distance it from productivism and toxicity in an era marked by the climate emergency.

To do this, it has a cart, curtains with articulated windows that display a changing imagery that suits the harangue and different elements such as banners with striking slogans and images of relevant eco-farmers and environmental activists, cardboard easels and flags that embody animal figures and giants of mythological divinities that link us to Mother Earth.

All these elements dance to the rhythm of the musical band that plays popular songs and bands such as Frank Zappa or Pink Floyd while they dialogue with Antúnez’s harangues.

Departure from Plaça del Vi and arrival at Plaça del Pou Rodó.
