Art and play in public squares during July evenings
Girona – Salt
For children of all ages
From 7 pm to 9 pm

Planetarium-Planet-Plaza is a participatory activity that seeks to recreate fragments of the night sky in order to highlight the lack of visible stars in cities due to light pollution. Using a geodesic structure, better known as a dome, we will build cardboard planetariums featuring constellations and astronomical phenomena from the summer sky.

The activity consists of collectively designing and building a planetarium and installing it in a public square so that local residents can enjoy it. It is a project that encourages group interaction through the sharing of stories and myths about the stars.

Graduated in Communication and Cultural Industries from the Universitat de Barcelona, Helena Calafell Muñoz-Castanyer is known for her work in cultural mediation and production projects. She has recently worked as an educator in spaces such as the Centre d’Art Tecla Sala, while also participating in creative projects connected to dramaturgy, developing costumes and stage design for various multidisciplinary performances.

Segona Residència is a participatory artistic leisure project co-produced by the Associació Cultural La Volta, the Centre Cultural Les Bernardes, and the Bòlit, Centre d’Art Contemporani de Girona.
