Performative action and installation in progress, as part of the research project “Gardens, Leisure Spaces, and Zones of Subjectivity”, developed during the SAC – FiC Residency.A male body lying on the grass. In “Queer Terraformations”, play becomes a performative act, and the landscape—both real and virtual—turns into a territory of desire, imagination, and resistance. Through the Nintendo video game Animal Crossing, a gamer reshapes the terrain with slow gestures: digging, erasing, placing flowers, redirecting rivers.A series of preparatory drawings accompanies the action, which can be followed live or via streaming on the Instagram app.
