Galería Alegría opened in Barcelona in 2011 as an exhibition project, far from the commercial circuits. Our first steps were guided by the sole desire to support and give visibility to artists with a free, generous and challenging attitude.
In 2013, the gallery moved to Madrid for the next seven years. During this time we developed and consolidated our exhibition program, focusing on early and mid-career artists, and introduced ourselves to the national and international art fair circuit.

Since 2020, we are back in our hometown and we have settled in an ex industrial unit, whose spaces have been renovated and redesigned to provide optimal conditions for artists to exhibit their work and to serve as a space for mutual growth.
