Art a la pàgina: Fernando Peracho and Marc Ávila Català

Third session of the Art a la pàgina cycle at the Sofia Barat Library in Barcelona. On this occasion, we will be in conversation with Fernando Peracho from Valid Foto gallery, and artist Marc Ávila Català.

Art a la pàgina (Art on the Page) brings contemporary art to the users of the public library, introducing the work of contemporary artists and their representing galleries. To delve deeper into the artists’ practice, we start from their publications, understood as works of art developed in the editorial medium: so-called artist books. From these artifacts, we will unfold a programme of four conversations aimed at exploring the work of selected artists in dialogue with the art galleries that represent them.
