Plot in the Square Massa Salvatge

With Plot in the Square we will conspire an anti-adult public space, more in line with the desires, interests and needs of children by turning around the traditional parks and play spaces for children, which are designed by adults, facilitating dialogue between adults and children. A symbolic gesture by creating a den with its own rules, investigating adults collectively and making a manifesto with banners to hack the square.

What rules would a children’s space made by people aged 6 to 12 have? What shape would it have? What would its flag be? What happens when children look at adults? How do we hack an adult public space?

We will make visible the answer to these and other questions from the body and emotions through play, exploration and artistic tools such as installation and performative actions.

Massa Salvatge is an art and education collective that promotes pedagogical processes and cultural action from a critical and socially committed perspective. They carry out specific projects for institutions and groups, combining educational projects, cultural mediation, artistic productions, participation, research and training.
