Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació opens calls for residencies for artistic projects and for musical projects
Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació opens the application period for the 2026 residency calls. There are two categories: for artistic projects and for music projects. All residencies, in addition to the free provision of space and services, include mentoring, support, and the opportunity to participate in various promotional and development activities, as well as participation in the Fabra Council — a governance and interaction space among residents. Resident artists have access to flexible and adaptable spaces suited to their activities, which they can access through different calls. They are also provided with support and tools to help them establish connections and relationships beyond the facility, in order to boost their careers.
Music Projects
The 2026 music project call aims to support the development of music-specific projects in two formats: short-term (between 1 and 2 months) and long-term (minimum 1 year, maximum 2 years). The deadline for submitting projects is September 29, 2025. An information session will be held on September 17 at 6 p.m. at Fabra i Coats: Creation Factory.
Artistic Projects
The 2026 artistic project call is aimed at artists in the performing arts and other expressions of movement arts and street arts, visual arts, film and audiovisual, sound art, multimedia, literature, and graphic novels who, individually or collectively, have a project and are willing to share their work process and connect it with the context of Fabra i Coats. The deadline for submitting projects is September 22, 2025. An information session will be held on September 16 at 6 p.m. at Fabra i Coats: Creation Factory.
