Feminism in the Nineties in Girona With Puri Molina, Carme Vinyoles, and Manel Bayo, moderated by Sílvia Planas.
Considering that INFRALOCUS has, as its main objective, making visible what risks remaining hidden, it is clear that the feminist movement must hold a central place in its approach. Puri Molina, Carme Vinyoles, and Manel Bayo will talk about their experience and activism, about the origins and sometimes the dissolution of all kinds of initiatives that were anything but utopian.
The exhibition “Infralocus: The 90s in Girona, a Decade of Twenty Years” focuses on the artistic and cultural richness of the nineties in the city of Girona, where art and life, leisure and activism, intertwined in a heterogeneous cultural backdrop. It will take place across the three Bòlit spaces (Bòlit_PouRodó, Bòlit_LaRambla, and Bòlit_StNicolau) and in the exhibition hall of the Girona History Museum.
Curated by: Puri Molina, Carme Vinyoles, and Manel Bayo. Moderated by: Sílvia Planas. Organized by: Bòlit Contemporary Art Center and Girona History Museum. Girona City Council. In collaboration with: Girona Provincial Council and the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia. Activity related to the exhibition “Infralocus. The 90s in Girona, a Decade of 20 Years.”
