Vermouth Saturday at Piramidón

This Saturday, May 24th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., we’re celebrating the last vermouth Saturday of the season with the opening of La forma del vacío, the new solo exhibition by Sandra Sanseverino.

La forma del vacío is the result of a new process, the materialization of an idea through painting. In Western culture, we perceive emptiness with fear and uncertainty. In contrast, in other cultures, such as Eastern traditions or even in the realm of painting, emptiness—the void—can be liberating. To empty oneself, to exhaust ideas and resources. To restart, like a blocked device. Paradoxically, emptiness is the condition that allows form to emerge.

Using different techniques and mediums, the artist views painting not as a quest for form but as an aesthetic response. Embossing, oil, ink. Canvas, paper, cardboard. With precise yet fragile brushstrokes and layers that reveal both transparency and opacity, Sanseverino executes the same concept: to create, to break, to manifest; to capture the void.

In addition to the opening, visitors can explore the new group exhibition 2025_N3, featuring works by resident artists, and enjoy an #OpenStudios Saturday, where you can step into some of their studios and gain a close-up look at their work and creative processes, directly guided by the artists themselves.
At 1 p.m., Sandra Sanseverino will lead a guided tour of her exhibition.

We look forward to seeing you at Piramidón!
