IX Urban Sketchers Meetup in Barcelona 2026

The IX Urban Sketchers Catalunya Meeting is just around the corner—a day designed for sketchers from across the region to come together, share moments of drawing, and enjoy the city through observation and sketchbooks.

This year, the meeting will take place on 12 April in Barcelona and will mark the closing event of this year’s BCN Sketch Fest. A special opportunity to celebrate on-location drawing and the community that makes it possible.

To facilitate organisation and travel, the meeting will be concentrated in Montjuïc, an area offering a wide variety of sketchable spaces and excellent public transport connections, especially for those arriving by train, with Sants Station very close by and metro connections at Plaça Espanya.

The reception point will be located at Plaça de Carles Buïgas, near the Magic Fountain, next to the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, and will be open from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

To help cover the organisational costs of the meeting and the ongoing maintenance of USk Catalunya, a €2 cash contribution is requested.
