The directions of the art centers for debate With Elvira Dyangani Ose, Ingrid Guardiola, Juana Hurtado, Imma Prieto and Valentín Roma

Closing session of the Bòlit 2021-2025 management cycle.

Taking advantage of the end of Ingrid Guardiola’s management cycle at the head of Bòlit, Contemporary Art Center in the last four years, we want to reflect on what it means to direct and manage an art center today: what are the limitations, the challenges and, even, the cultural model that is at stake.

And we will do so through practical cases of different scales such as MACBA, La Virreina. Center de la imatge, Fabra i Coats or Bòlit itself since we will have their directors or former directors to talk about them.

In this session, the book ‘Marge de manióvero’ by Ingrid Guardiola will also be presented, a reflection on the Bòlit 2021-2025 project.
