In this project “home” is approached not merely as a physical space, but as a place where identity is constructed, and roles are learned and performed. Inside, the rituals of everyday life and a sense of belonging become visible; outside, this structure transforms into a game, reimagined through “playing house.”

Here, playing house evolves beyond a childhood activity into a stage where social roles are reflected. The exhibition examines notions of safety, belonging, transience, and temporary living spaces through the lens of home and the act of playing house; it also engages with migration, states of being in motion, and identities shaped around these conditions. Moving between the reality within the home and its representations outside, the exhibition places the viewer within this play-field, confronting them with what is both familiar and constructed, and inviting them to question where the boundaries of home begin and end.
