Presentation Polisemias para otros tiempos #1

We present Polisemias para otros tiempos #1. A publication that brings together various creative projects which, from a critical perspective, challenge the linear conception of historical time in modernity, in order to explore possibilities for escape and acknowledge the plurality of histories.

Four chapters conceived as ecologies, which engage in dialogue with one another through different temporalities: Time in Ruins proposes a plural reading that fractures the linearity of modern time and confronts the collapse of colonial time. Suspended Time proposes an intentional pause in the face of capitalist productivism, through the poetic reconstruction of memory, affective and intergenerational bonds. Stripped Time denounces the deliberate erasure of memories, bodies and objects, whilst seeking new ways to trace these silenced histories. Finally, Time in Loss explores forms of resistance that reconstruct memories and challenge hyper-productivity, in order to inhabit an ‘other time’.

We propose a space for listening, dialogue and collective creation, to think collectively about time, to feel time and to inhabit multiple possible times.
