What do the stars tell us? Let’s look up — maybe they’ll appear
PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES LED BY LA NOIA DEL MONYO
Monday, June 15, 22 and 29, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Can you imagine being able to see the stars before it even gets dark? The stars are always there: they move, play and dance to create fun shapes and drawings. They are tiny lights, ancient and far away, telling us stories, keeping our wishes safe and marking mysterious paths. Come to Pere Calders Square: we’ll take intergalactic journeys, invent constellations, create stories from the sky and learn the language of the stars to understand everything they want to tell us. Imagination, games and light to create our own stellar universe!
La noia del monyo is an artistic collective formed by Ingrid Riera, Maria Soler and Clara Soler that, through an interdisciplinary approach focused on public space, understands and explores art as a tool for social transformation.
Throughout these three sessions leading up to the implementation of Planetari-Planeta-Plaça, the proposal selected within the framework of the Segona Residència 2026 call, La noia del monyo will facilitate a play space in the square to begin introducing the artistic project.
With the collaboration of Centre Cívic Santa Eugènia and Centre Obert Can Gibert. Segona Residència is a participatory artistic leisure project co-produced by Associació Cultural La Volta, Centre Cultural Les Bernardes and Bòlit, Centre d’Art Contemporani de Girona.
