Sâlmon 2026 with Adrian Schindler

As part of Sâlmon 2026, the Centre d’Art is collaborating with the festival by hosting a screening of Adrian Schindler’s Tetuan, Tetuán, تطوان trilogy.

Set between Spain and Morocco, the trilogy revisits Spanish colonial past and its persistence in the public space, cultural production and collective imaginary. Through a collaborative methodology, the three films move between Barcelona, Madrid and Tetouan and draw on oral storytelling, music, reading and fiction to question hegemonic narratives and propose fresh forms of shared memory.

The screening is part of the art centre’s work to explore the Mediterranean as a space of shared memories, historical tensions and cultural exchanges. In dialogue with the conceptual pillars of Sâlmon 2026, this proposal invites us to rethink the narratives that shape the present and the possibility of imagining other futures through contemporary artistic practice.
