Is it easy for an artist to end up exhibiting in a gallery? Is it something all artists want? How is it decided who exhibits and who doesn’t? And what role does the market play in all this?
Art Nou is the Emerging Art Festival of Barcelona and L’Hospitalet, which aims to bring together all the players in the art world and help emerging artists make their first professional connection with the contemporary art market. In this podcast, we have tried to do the same: bring together artists, curators and collectors to talk about the inner workings of emerging creation.
This is how the second GRAF podcast begins, presented by Rita Roig, who accompanies the conversation with Belén Soria (Espacio EX), Natalia Foguet Plaza (Director of the Únicas Foundation), Alán Carrasco, artist, and Quico Peinado, gallery owner (ángels barcelona) and president of the Art Barcelona Association.
GRAF’s Apropos are content created specifically about something happening in our artistic context. On this occasion, we have created a radio version in podcast format in collaboration with Art Barcelona for this edition of Art Nou.
