The Collector is Present is back for another year, we have been talking to Mela Dávila, Manuel Expósito, Natàlia Chocarro, Alex Nogueras and Rocío Santa Cruz, who have shared with us their views and experiences in relation to collecting, with recommendations and advices for the first collections.

The seven guilds active during the 2023-2024 academic year have let us into their research spaces to share their experiences and tell us briefly who they are, what they do, and the words they would use to describe their journey through Santa Mònica.

The Collector is Presente was one of the proposals of this Barcelona Gallery Weekend 2023, a new appointment in the galleries of Barcelona, which for a weekend offered a special agenda as a result of the collaboration between collectors and gallery owners.

For this edition of Artnou 2023, we have returned to the good brainstorming meetings with our allies Abe and Artnou, and we have selected two artists and a curator to delve into their universes and share these reflections and proposals with the GRAF community.
