Once again, The Collector is Present returns, the program resulting from the collaboration between collectors and gallery owners of the Barcelona Gallery Weekend, who during the weekend of May 9th to 11th, develop a joint project in the galleries. From GRAF, we have been conversing with the curator, researcher, and consultant Mela Dávila, the collector Manuel Expósito, and with Natàlia Chocarro, art advisor of the Vila Casas Foundation, as well as gallery owners from the city, Alex Nogueras of Prats Nogueras Blanchard, Carlos Duran of Senda, and Rocío Santa Cruz of RocíoSantaCruz gallery, who have shared with us their perspectives and experiences regarding collecting, as well as recommendations and advice for first-time collectors.
